    used tilapia in place of cod; used half a can of coconut milk about a cup of veggie broth, but otherwise followed the recipe as written. Served fish and poaching liquid over rice noodles, and then stood at the stove and drank the rest of the poaching liquid out of the pan with a spoon. When the fish was almost done, I added some thin spring asparagus to the pan, and it was steamed perfectly. I’ll make the poaching liquid again.
