Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This was a very nice and tasty chowder, not difficult to make even though there are a few steps involved. My only disappointment is that it was a thin soup,even though I smashed up some of the potatoes as instructed. I was hoping for a thicker, more hearty soup.
