    This bread has been a big hit every time I've made it and I get questions about when I'm going to make that ham cheese bread again. I've found it helpful to add the prosciutto, manchego and balsamic onions a bit at a time into the dry flour, dousing them well with flour -- this prevents them from clumping. Add the liquid a little at a time and if you are going to error, error on the side of dry -- it's easy for this one to come out a bit gummy. I do not follow the garnishing directions -- they always end up overcooked and unpleasant.
