Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I’m pretty sure there is an error in the recipe. It seems the 1.5 cups of rice called for should have been specified as the amount to use after cooking it, not before. If you measure the 1.5 cups as raw rice, the amount completely overwhelms the beef, and there’s so much left over after filling the peppers. Very unfortunate error, it completely ruined the recipe. Almost inedible.

    These are delicious, and the recipe is more of a “batch size” so we had enough stuffing mix and tomato sauce to freeze for another night.

    These are good, but not brilliant. The seasoned beef is yummy, but I felt like there was some moisture missing and maybe some sweet and sour flavor? I think I would stir some tomato sauce into the rice/meat mixture next time at the very least.
