    I usually detest recipes titled the "best" anything because I usually find they don't live up to the hype, but I have to say this was very, very, good indeed. I didn't have corn so omitted it, and subbed roasted red peppers for fresh. I also skipped the cayenne as I was using Penzeys medium chile powder, which I thought would already have the right amount of heat for me (and I was right). I cooked for 45 minutes per the recipe, and then let it keep simmering for a few more hours so the flavors could really blend. I will definitely be making this one again.
