    Very good! I didn't have almond butter, but I had cashews at home that I used to make my own cashew butter (roast cashews until they start turning golden, about 10 minutes, and then put them in the food processor while still warm). It worked perfectly in the cake. The cake freezes really well. Took out a few pieces the other day, and they tasted exactly the same as the day I made it.
