Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This was one of the rare misses from this book for me. It was just too sweet for me to enjoy.

    Very very sweet - there is way too much sugar in this recipe. Even my ramen loving teenager didn't like it all that much. I've had versions of this salad at block parties over the years that weren't half bad but this one didn't do it for us.

    I don't know what to make of this one. The negative, I'd called it a Mommy-blogger recipe. It's simplistic, uses pantry staples and doesn't require much "cooking". The good, it's tasty and moreish, but in that MSG-sugar-loaded way. Chrissy is all over the map, she's a lover of ALL foods, you can find sophisticated recipes in her book, then you can find recipes like these. I won't lie.
