Can substitute fine cornmeal for semolina flour, and granulated sugar for sanding sugar.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

These are divine. I have made them a few times. I made it for my pastry chef daughter and she called me months later to ask for the recipe.

This is a solid, but somewhat intensive shortcake. There are essentially 4 little recipes to make, but it comes together and is a perfect Summer treat. This is also far lighter than expected.
