    I've made this a couple times with mixed results. When using out-of-season green beans, they turned out soggy and mushy. I would make this again, but only with fresh green beans.

    I love these. Great with something spicy when you need that extra sweetness.

    These didn't work for us. The beans tasted raw and were way too sweet. Definitely cut down on the sugar.

    I’ve made these twice and still haven’t gotten it down. Love the sweetness but definitely too much, I would cut the sugar. Also, my beans have ended up mushy both times, and I even used less water the second time. We’ll see if I give it another go.

    Too sweet for me. Maybe would try again with less sugar, although maybe that misses the point of this recipe.
