Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    An omnivore like me is always a little skeptical of just beans and rice for a dinner. As much as I love rice, I still think of beans and rice (when there's no meat) as a side dish. So I reluctantly made this one on a weeknight for Mom and me. (She's closer to a vegetarian than I am.) But it was very nice and easy to make and cheap. They list avocado as optional, but for me avocado is never optional. I would never want to leave that out. All three garnishes (raw onions, avocado, and lime juice) really contributed to the yumminess.
