Classic pomegranate-walnut chicken stew (Fesanjun khoresh) from Taste of Persia: A Cook's Travels Through Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, and Kurdistan (page 204) by Naomi Duguid

  • walnuts
  • pomegranate molasses
  • chicken legs
  • ground cassia buds

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

This is AMAZING! I think I might either process the walnuts less (so they are chunkier) or grind them finer. We used boneless, skinless chicken thighs and it turned out great.
