Spicy meatballs with adjika and yogurt from Samarkand: Recipes & Stories from Central Asia & The Caucasus (page 107) by Caroline Eden and Eleanor Ford

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I made half the sauce and it was still a lot. The combo of the meatballs, yogurt and sauce were great though I think I would add a bit more chili to give it a little more heat next time. Really loved the flavour on the meatball though I likely would add an egg as they were a bit loose in the pan and a few broke even though I chilled these to set them.

These were interesting but I don’t think I would repeat them. The meatballs were a bit tough to start, although the flavors were good. I need to consult my other recipes for adjika- this version was garlicky but I didn’t think it was very spicy.
