Cinnamon potatoes with pine nuts from Samarkand: Recipes & Stories from Central Asia & The Caucasus (page 134) by Caroline Eden and Eleanor Ford

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This was delicious and also unlike anything I’d ever had before. The spiced onions and pine nuts really made the dish. I did this with larger potatoes sliced 1.25 inches thick and would be interested in trying baby potatoes as well. Was really great with plain grilled pork.

Yum! One of the most interesting potato dishes I've tried. I threw some brussel sprouts into the braising liquid (they needed to be used) and this was quite good! I served this with broiled white fish, tossed salad (honey poppyseed vinegrette) and freshly baked bread.
