Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Used about 3/4 Pink Pearl and 1/4 Winesap (heirloom apples from my trees). Was out of Calvados so I used Clear Creek Distillery Apple Brandy. Instead of just 1 tsp cinnamon, I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground allspice, and 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg. In the past I've pureed the applesauce, but I followed the directions here and mashed it with a potato masher and left it chunky. I don't really taste the brandy in the finished product, but it's good!
