Linzer cookies from The King Arthur Flour Baker's Companion: The All-Purpose Baking Cookbook (page 310) by King Arthur Flour

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

These turned out very well after some intervention—I made the almond flour substitute but I attempted to do it by weight (the other ingredients are listed in ounces) vs by volume, which is how the substitution suggestion was written. I believe this was a mistake, as my dough was far too soft to roll out. I ended yup manually working probably 3/4 cups worth of flour into the dough, even after chilling for hours. This worked best rolled out and then chilled, vs rolling after chilling. That said, i would still make this again.
