Jam bars from Tartine All Day: Modern Recipes for the Home Cook (page 292) by Elisabeth Prueitt and Jessica Washburn and Maria Zizka

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I’d never call a jam bar diabetic-friendly, BUT as jam bars go, this one is loaded up with almond butter and almond flour. You can add chopped nuts to the crumble topping for extra protein. If you had a good sugar-free or low-sugar jam, this would be a better choice for Dad than some of that other stuff he is eating.

Used coconut oil instead of butter, brown sugar and less jam. The bars hold well together and taste good. I loved the addition of lemon. Oats are a bit too chewy, will use more jam next time
