Roasted chickpea salad with za'atar from Food52 Mighty Salads: 60 New Ways to Turn Salad into Dinner--and Make-Ahead Lunches, Too (page 78) by Food52 Editors

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This is a favorite in our house. If I have time, I make the garbanzo beans from scratch, using the Smitten Kitchen recipe "A Really Great Pot of Chickpeas". Terrific texture and taste. You can use jarred or canned fried shallots or fried onions instead of frying fresh shallots. Dried currants or dried cranberries can be substituted for the raisins. A very versatile and tasty salad!
