Gluten-free quinoa pancakes from A New Way to Bake: Classic Recipes Updated with Better-for-You Ingredients from the Modern Pantry (page 13) by Martha Stewart Living

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

  • Eat Your Books

Despite the title, EYB has not tagged this recipe as gluten-free because it calls for all-purpose flour.

Made using half AP flour, half spelt flour, as suggested (my book did not have the correction to make these GF, but it would be simple to sub GF flour). Used 1 cup cooked quinoa I had in my freezer. I cooked larger pancakes and got 8. They were very tasty - sweet enough that you could skip the syrup, although we didn't. Surprisingly filling.

I had a card in my book that says the flour is a misprint. Use 3/4 cup quinoa flour or 3/4 cup gluten free flour mix for the all purpose flour.
