  • EYB Comments

Soak cashew nuts for 4 to 6 hours.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Easy to make. I use this in savory recipes that require heavy cream. Definitely get raw cashews for this as they have a more neutral taste.

Very easy to make (you don't need to soak the cashews so long, 15 minutes in boiling hot water is fine). End result is very richa Nd creamy with a strong nutty rather than cheesy taste. I liked it but DD didn't. Mixed with miso the next day to eat with sushi and I really enjoyed that.
