    Can substitute brandy for bourbon. Dried fruit must macerate 4 hours and dough must be refrigerated at least 2 hours.

    The recipe calls for baking 25 minutes. I baked for 18 minutes and my cookies are a little darker than I would like. I know my oven is fairly accurate but 25 minutes is too long.
