Shepherd's pie from The Tucci Table: Cooking with Family and Friends (page 125) by Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Used this recipe as a loose guide, but made lots of edits. Half beef and half lamb. Used a very gelatinous stock, as the serious eats recipe calls to add gelatin for mouthfeel. Used both thyme and rosemary, 1/3 tsp marmite, 3-4 shakes Worcestershire sauce, swapped tomato paste instead of canned tomatoes, pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of all spice. We also added the peas into the mix instead of on the side. Cheddar on top.

This was really, really good. The cup of wine and the anchovies gave the dish a huge taste boost! Note that you don't need to chop the veggies in a food processor after sauteeing them - they'll be just fine as they are.
