    My family has loved this soup for years. The addition of parsnips and nutmeg give it a hint of an unusual spicy note that is delicious. I first started making it one fall when the garden tomatoes were abundant and my teenage son was in his vegetarian phase. But it is truly a keeper soup for the whole family.
