Salvadoran shrimp soup (Sopa de camarones) [Alicia Maher] from The Immigrant Cookbook: Recipes That Make America Great (page 58) by Leyla Moushabeck

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This was a really delicious soup. I took shells from two pounds of shrimp and cooked them in vegetable stock and chicken bone broth and it was really delicious. I increased the tomatoes a bit, doubled the garlic and carrots. I did not have green peppers so I used a mix of red and yellow bell peppers. I used my first harvest of the season in cilantro from the garden. Really great. It did make a lot of soup and we can’t wait for the leftovers.

This was absolutely delicious and made a ton of servings. In the future, I'd probably pull the tails before cooking since fishing them out was a little bit of a pain, but this was wonderful, a hit with the more picky person I usually cook for, and felt very healthy. I'll definitely be making this again. It also comes together quickly.
