Suya spiced lamb meatballs or koftas from Zoe's Ghana Kitchen: Traditional Ghanaian Recipes Remixed for the Modern Kitchen (page 154) by Zoe Adjonyoh

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

These were unusual: I wasn't sure but my partner really liked them. I think some of the issue was that the recipe called for a sub-recipe of a spice mix, and that sub-recipe said you could use peanut butter or ground peanuts in the ingredients - I used peanut butter, but this obviously means you end up with a stiff paste, not a dry spice mix, which made the "roll the meatballs in the spice mix" part of this recipe impossible. I ended up adding all the spice mix (paste) to the meatball mix, and the peanut butter came through very distinctly.
