This recipe uses the book's "Simple syrup" which can be pre-prepared. Can substitute gin for Cognac and Prosecco wine or cava wine for Champagne wine.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Delicious. Used gin, homemade grenadine in place of simple syrup, and cava.

Same specs as Meehan, except Sasha calls for gin or cognac. My favorite French 75 spec.
