Mauby drink concentrate from Caribbean Pot

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

Let's see - I can use a store-bought concentrate with cane sugar, mauby bark concentrate, glucose, citric acid, carmamel color, sodium benzoate, natural spice flavors and antifoaming agent OR I can make my own concentrate with all natural flavors and adjust the spices to match my taste ... I think I'll take the latter. This recipe worked very well - much preferable to the store-bought concentrate. I did use bitter orange peel as that is what I had on hand but otherwise followed the recipe as written. I'll definitely repeat it ... and likely vary it to find my idea of perfection for a non-alcoholic summer drink.
