Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    These were nice, but there was a bit too much pastry compared to the amount of filling. I wonder if it would be possible to use just one sheet of filo per samosa instead of two as Mary directs. I'd also try to get some bigger flavours into the filling to get it to come through more: more of all the spices, and more coriander. But I liked this recipe overall, and it's nice to get younger family members rolling up the samosas since it's a fun and fairly easy job.
