    I enjoyed this, too, and was inspired by the previous review to add a trickle of maple syrup and walnuts to the slaw. Only used one apple. Would make again!

    I used this recipe as a base for what turned out to be a delicious salad. I remembered that my mother in law used to add raisins to her red cabbage and apple salad so I did this and also added walnuts, more vinegar (I read tbsp for tsp!) and then some maple syrup to balance the acidity. Left out the apple juice and spring onion as I didn’t have them but thought the mustard was an inspired touch - yum!
