Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I also ended up rolling a little thinner than the 1/2 inch called for and then proceeded overbake the 1st pan. Subsequent pans baked for around 13 minutes and were perfect. Perhaps not my favourite shortbread (of course not judging by the overbaked pan :) but we will happily munch on them as our after dinner sweet.

    I rolled the cookies thinner (about 3/8"), as 1/2" seemed very thick. They baked in 20 minutes. The shortbread had a nice, classic flavor and texture.
