Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This was surprisingly good for the lack of effort involved. I used some pork loin steaks I found languishing in the freezer and subbed a shallot for the leek. I took the advice of one of the comments online to cover with cider rather than water. My husband said it’s absolutely nothing like the pork casserole his mum made in the 70’s but he’d certainly eat this one again.
