Rye fried rice with pickled cranberries and honey scallion goat cheese from Double Awesome Chinese Food: Irresistible and Totally Achievable Recipes from Our Chinese-American Kitchen (page 122) by Andrew Li and Irene Li and Margaret Li

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

Can substitute farro for whole rye grains, and barley for black rice.

We really enjoyed this, the "fried" rice was nice and crunchy, and the goat cheese "sauce" was really nice with it. Looking forward to making this one again.
