Spicy stir-fried chicken and shredded Brussels bowls from Skinnytaste One & Done: 140 No-Fuss Dinners for Your Instant Pot®, Slow Cooker, Air Fryer, Sheet Pan, Skillet, Dutch Oven, and More (page 29) by Gina Homolka and Heather K. Jones

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute mirin or dry sherry for Shaoxing rice wine.

Tasted good, but even using a food processor to speed up chopping, this felt like too much effort for the result. I would not recommend doubling the recipe—the quantity becomes pretty unwieldy. I served this with homemade mandarin pancakes and it reheated well.

I had to use beef instead of chicken, and I thought this was really tasty. I used a food processor to shred the brussels sprouts and carrots would definitely shred the pepper as well. Next time ?I would double the sauce. Adding an egg on top is a smart choice!

Added an egg to make it even better!

An easy dinner. I used the food processor to shred the Brussels sprouts and carrot to save time (and my knuckles). The picture in the book has definitely been styled since the carrots and Brussels look raw and the instructions have you brown them. Overall this was a healthy, quick dinner. I would make it again.

This recipe involved A LOT of chopping, but once that's done it's very easy to put together. A nice stir fry that's low carb. I didn't miss the rice that usually accompanies stir fry dishes. This didn't keep well, I tried some left overs the next day and they weren't great.

This was delicious. I used leftovers in an egg roll fried in the air fryer and used mae ploy for the dipping sauce for a Skinnytaste challenge on their What's for Dinner FB page. Also amazing.
