    These are a bit involved, but they're worth it. The curd is nice and tangy and the candied zest, which I chopped into small bits for easier slicing/serving, gives nice bursts of grapefruity flavor. Since some of the commenters on the Bon Appetit page say an 8 x 8 pan is too small, I didn't use all of the crust or curd -- just pressed/poured in enough until the layers were the thickness I wanted. (Leftovers were cooked separately, in ramekins.)
