    I didn't have spring onions and substituted a yellow onion, so my sauce was quite an unappetising colour but it tasted good. On balance I prefer my usual recipe (Pappardelle with fennel from Lorenza's Pasta: https://www.eatyourbooks.com/library/recipes/888981/pappardelle-with-fennel-pappardelle-al) but it's always good to try something different.
