    Once I got the cake prepared, I had to read this recipe three times to convince myself I had not made a mistake. The recipe made a completely full 9” springform pan and then called for a 45 minute bake time. I cooked mine nearly an hour past that to get the cake tester clean. The end result was a super thick rye cake with comparatively few strawberries and not much interest. I almost wonder if the recipe accidentally doubled the cake batter? For sure I will not make it again and may find something else to serve book club tonight.
