Vanilla rice pudding with Marsala-baked pears from Dappled: Baking Recipes for Fruit Lovers (page 104) by Nicole Rucker

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

The rice pudding part of the recipe is exceptional and worth making just for that. The pears are good, but the pudding is really the star. I would recommend starting to check it halfway through the uncovered baking time as it will thicken quite fast and you want to stop when it's slightly looser than you'd want the finished pudding, knowing it will continue to cook and thicken as it cools.
