    This was a fun brownie recipe to try something different. The brownies are somewhat cake like with a deep chocolate flavor that is wonderfully complemented by the jam. I used a jar of purchased orange marmalade that I warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it more spreadable. When warm, the layers will tend to slide apart but when fully cooled this is less of a problem.
