    Batter must prove 2 hours to overnight. Can substitute ground almonds for ground pecans.

    Delicious flavor. I'd hoped that the yeast batter would result in a crisp waffle, but the exterior was just slightly crisp, no doubt due to the banana. I used ground almonds. Yield was 7 round waffles.
