Semolina cake from Salt & Time: Recipes from a Modern Russian Kitchen (page 179) by Alissa Timoshkina

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Can substitute kefir for milk.

Made with 3/4 kefir and 1/4 milk for the liquid. Seriously good semolina cake, open crumb but still moist and comfortingly hefty. 180 fan seemed very hot but it cooked in just a couple of minutes under the time given and came away easily from the greased tin.
