    Despite best intentions, a necessary pivot meant that my end product wasn't exactly what they intended. I prepped/cooked the potatoes as instructed, microwaving for a little longer to ensure they were cooked through before going on the stove & all that worked great. However, I think my chili garlic sauce is super hot OR I used too much OR??? something else because a quick taste of the mix before adding to the potatoes confirmed that it was way too hot (even for us!). I decided to add sour cream to tone down the heat and we simply spooned this creamy sauce over the potatoes. It turns out that we both loved this version.
