Applejack sour from Bon Appétit Magazine, November 2019: The Thanksgiving Issue (page 26)

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Not too bad a rainy Sunday cocktail: I used Pays D'Auge Calvados (haven't seen applejack in my local liquor merchants). Definitely a winner.

Delicious Fall cocktail. Nicely balanced between sweet and tart. We garnished with a cinnamon stick instead of sprinkling with nutmeg.

I love applejack anyway, so this is a nice change from a whiskey sour. I used Laird's 7-year-old apple brandy which isn't as rough as Laird's basic applejack.

Very nice seasonal cocktail. Works well on Thasnkgiving.
