Apple butter galette from The Guardian Feast supplement, October 12, 2019 (page 5) by Yotam Ottolenghi

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Pastry was easy to roll out as long as you keep everything cold as directed. This recipe takes some hours if you’re making apple butter from scratch. Final product is lovely, pastry light yet crunchy and sturdy, filling sweet with firmly cooked apples. Loved by all! Next time I’d reduce sugar in all steps as I found mine a little sweet

After I had made the spiced apple butter for this recipe already a couple of months ago, I finally managed to bake this galette. Great method for the dough which produces a very flaky crust. Sliced the apples thinly with a mandoline, great looking and delicious!
