    Made this again. As I couldn't find lamb neck fillet I bought lamb rump steaks. Made the decision to cook the vegetables as a stew and cooked the lamb as steaks separately. Worked pretty well - right decision for the lamb...not as tasty overall of course.

    I used this recipe as a template as I didn't have all of the ingredients namely flageolet beans or turnip but had small amounts of the other veg to use. I ignored the turnip (never a favourite) and replaced the flageolet beans with cannellini beans and it was delicious. Will definitely make it again as it was a low maintenance dish for a weeknight. I might try using white vermouth if I had no white wine to use up.
