    This actually worked and it is really very good. There are three distinct layers with custard as the middle layer. It's the easiest custard I have ever made! It took about 45 minutes to cook, but I could have gone 5 to 6 minutes less. I was waiting for it to turn a golden brown, but it never got what I would call a golden brown - just a light brown.
