Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    While I did have to add more seasoning to this than specified (sugar, salt, and butter - the last of which could probably have been avoided by using a richer coconut cream instead of milk) the end result was delicious. The spice mix is hearty and toasty and we both enjoyed it a lot. I'm not very familiar with Sri Lankan food but it's one of the areas I'll definitely be exploring more!
