    Can substitute boneless skinless chicken thighs for boneless skinless chicken breasts, whole milk or canned coconut milk for heavy cream, and Asiago cheese for Parmesan cheese.

    This was just delicious. We used coconut milk. Nothing not to like about this dish.

    So good! My family devoured this. I substituted dried herbes de Provence for fresh thyme on the chicken, cooked 3 chicken breasts, omitted the red pepper flakes, and increased the garlic (it was mild spring garlic). Use a big pan; everything just fit in my 12" cast iron skillet. I was generous with the fresh basil and Parmesan at the end. The suggested accompaniments of quinoa and grilled zucchini were perfect.

    I made 1/2 of this recipe tonight with 4 boneless chicken thighs and 3 corn cobs. The rest was pretty much just 1/2 of everything ....and it is delicious!!! I did have to add the end of a jar of basil pesto in place of the fresh basil this time. We scraped the pan clean!!
