Oatmeal cookies from How to Cook Everything, Completely Revised 10th Anniversary Edition: 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food (page 894) by Mark Bittman

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Was looking for a chewier cookie. These are more floury and fluffy. It only called for a pinch of salt and I dumped in at least 1/2 teaspoon but it could've used a whole teaspoon. I also added chocolate chips.

These are good -- I mean, they are cookies, how bad could they be? but not very exciting. I think I prefer cookies that have more oats and less flour.
