Fully loaded tuna melt with bacon, pickled peppers, avocado, and tomato from Serious Eats

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This was the first tuna melt sandwich I ever had and made. I used grated cheddar instead of mozzarella and made on sandwich with beef bacon. Was really tasty! I just need to use less salt in the tuna mixture next time, since the other ingredients are already salty enough. The mixture was enough for three sandwiches in my case, but could be due to German sandwich bread being smaller.
