Whole wheat-oat waffles from Bon Appétit Magazine, May 2020 (page 33) by Deb Perelman

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I used white whole wheat flour and Quaker old-fashioned (not quick) oats. The batter was very thick and didn't spread on its own. I got 5 not-quite-round waffles. They were very hearty, crisp outside, slightly chewy inside. The flavor skewed more savory than sweet. They tasted great with the blueberry syrup. For savory toppings, I'd leave the recipe as is, but for sweet toppings, I'd add a little sugar and maybe use less salt.
