    Like Lsblackburn1 I make a variety of apple cakes. This is good, but not my favorite. On the other hand, my husband loves this one and asks me to make it when we have a bunch of apples. So, maybe it's a "man thing?"

    I’ve been making various apple cakes in order to use our apple tree apples. I thought this one was less interesting than other recipes, but my husband preferred it because it was very moist.
